FSI of Western Michigan is based in the Spring Lake, MI area and we offer Life, Accident and Health Pre-licensing Home Study, Home Study with Classroom, and LIC or AHIC Self-Study/CE credits.

Jack has a BS / Insurance Degree from Ferris State University and holds both the CLU and ChFC Designations. He is also a Certified Identity Protection Advisor. He has taught insurance for 27yrs. Jack is the owner and President of FSI of Western Michigan LLC. He is the main researcher and writer of our Continuing Education and Pre-licensing classes. Jack graduated with “Distinction” from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Insurance. He has received the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from The American College. He also has a Health Insurance Counselors license and is a Certified Identity Theft Protection Advisor.
Jack spent eleven-years with The CNA Insurance companies and four-years with The Hartford. While with CNA he managed the sales brokerage office in Indianapolis for seven-years, and was responsible for sales and administration for the state of Indiana. During his time with The Hartford Jack managed offices in Indianapolis and Cincinnati, and was responsible for sales and administration in Indiana, southern Ohio and Kentucky. When not busy with FSI Jack works as an independent agent and advisor. Jack has been married for over 53 years to his wife Bunny, has four children and two grandchildren.

Our home study course will provide you with all the information you need to prepare for, and PASS, the state licensing exams for Life and/or Accident and Health Insurance. At the end of each course study, you will complete and return a test. Upon passing the test with a 70% or better, you will be registered with the State as completing this required course.

This course is a combination of home study and intense classroom review to prepare students to PASS the state licensing exams. Students MUST complete both portions of this program to receive a certificate of completion.

These Programs are designed to prepare you for the State's Counselor Exam. For an additional fee you can receive additional CE credit by taking this course as a home study. Choose 1 of 2 options per license. Prices listed below includes shipping.

OPTION B - You will receive the LIC Self Study Book to study for the exam, and 14 CE credits (includes 3 Ethics credits) by taking this course, and passing the home study examination. Price: $120
